This installation will UPGRADE your Cast Bullet Design ~ Advanced versions 4 to the Cast Bullet Design ~ Advanced version 5.
You must have a previous copy of the Cast Bullet Design ADVANCED software installed on your computer for this software to run.

Accurately calculate cast bullet volume and weight from the casting alloy used.
NEW Determines optimum twist rate, bullet length or muzzle velocity using a bullet stability factor.
Caclulates lube groove volume and lube weight.
Calculates the precise center of mass and center of pressure of the cast bullet.
Determines the proper gas check shank diameter based upon caliber and a database of gas check dimensions.
Instantly create a dimensionally accurate, resizeable, annotated scale bitmap drawing of any bullet in the database.
Print or save as either a bitmap or jpeg file for subsequent forwarding or printing.
Create a dimensionally accurate, resizeable, image of the bullet that may be printed or saved to a file for subsequent printing or exportation to other software.

New, updated features include:

• Calculate, display and store separate diameter values for any or all body bands.
• Calculate a mold cavity dimension factor based upo the hot mold expansion coefficient and and alloy cooling contraction coeffcient.
• Create a Mold Cavity Dimension Record from the application of the cavity dimension factor to each as-cast bullet dimension.
• Display as-cast bullet diameters calculated from the alloy cooling contraction coefficient.
• Automatically calculate ogive radius/length, tip diameter and bore ride length to accomodate the in-case measurement value.
• Calculate ogive radius and bore ride length values to match rifling leade angles.

Users of Precision Ballistics or Precision Load Records software can export bullet design, dimensions and images to the Precision Bullet databases.

Users of QuickLoad software can export their bullet design and dimension data directly to a QuickLoad bullet data file.
